Ram Janambhoomi Movement

“Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram” is the “Man of the Age” of India’s perpetual culture. Indians worship and praise him as the ‘King of Kings’. Many years ago, the foreign invaders destroyed the “Rama Temple” and made another structure. Babar, who was the brutal ruler of all time, made that structure in his name which was a major blow to all the “Rama” devotees. After India got independence, there was a movement raising to remove the “Ram Mandir Annihilation” stigma. Unfortunately, the Govt. declared the “Ram Janambhoomi” controversial under the influence of western culture. The local administration and Central Govt. kept on repressing the movement.

The Govt. kept on assassinating and executing the devotees in order to earn the Muslims votes and maintain the power. In the 90’s, Shri Ashok Singhal Ji started the movement on the National and International level by gaining the trust of all the religious preachers, saints and sadhus. Under the leadership of Shri Singhal ji, the VHP personnel joined the movement. In spite of the atrocities, the devotees didn’t gave up. After facing years of exploitation and atrocity, on Dec 6, 1992, the devotees penetrated the security force and breached the fencing, set the “Ram Janambhoomi” free by demolishing the structure made by Babar. Ashok ji sharpened the movement during 80’s. With such an amazing leadership capacity, he united all the saints of India.

However, he was apprehensive about the consequences but was tipped off by the great saint Baba Devraha about the consequences of “Ram Mandir foundation” complications and the broken trust of the devotees. Shri Ashok Singhal Ji was determined and believed in himself besides the strong will power towards the “Ram Mandir” construction.
